CityJet rebrand of VLM fleet commences
Following CityJet’s take over of VLM Airlines earlier this year, London’s business airline has begun rebranding and repainting the entire VLM fleet of Fokker 50s in the CityJet livery.

The first two Fokker 50 aircraft boasting the new CityJet livery are now in operation at London City Airport, the airline’s hub. The colour scheme was developed by a joint team of VLM Airlines and CityJet, using the design elements developed by Brand Image, the French international Brand design agency of parent company, Air France KLM.
Geoffrey O’Byrne White, CEO of CityJet stated: “Our passengers travelling via London City Airport will now be presented with just one brand name and one consistent and recognisable colour scheme, ensuring complete clarity regarding CityJet’s ex-UK offering. Since the VLM Airlines brand name will disappear after 16 years, the first aircraft to be repainted will be named the ‘Spirit of VLM'.”
