This month Virgin Atlantic celebrates 20 years of flying to Tokyo, they first launched flights between London and Tokyo in May 1989 and has since carried nearly 3m passengers on the popular route. Originally departing from Gatwick, the service moved to Heathrow in 1991.

Red hot fares are available on this route. Return Economy fares start from £620, Premium Economy fares start from £1098 and Upper Class fares start from £2686. All these fares include taxes and charges. These fares to Tokyo are available from 1st May to 21st July and 26th August to 13th December.
