Low cost carrier JetBlue Airways continues to expand its Caribbean presence with the launch of nonstop services between Fort Lauderdale and Ponce, Puerto Rico. Year round daily flights start on November 5 2007 with introductory fares from $59.00 (£29.00) each way, with regular fares ranging from $99.00 (£48.00) to $299.00 (£145.00) each way. Ponce will be JetBlue's 12^th destination served nonstop from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.
