Sanctuary Lodges & Camps who own and manage exclusive boutique properties throughout Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana and Zambia have added the first full-service spa in Botswana. Their luxury lodge, Chobe Chilwero will offer relaxing treatments using locally-made Africology products. It will also feature an indoor spa bath, Vichy showers and private treatment rooms, one of which will be elevated in the treetops overlooking the Chobe river.
 
Chobe Chilwero literally means ‘place of high view’ and the property borders the Chobe National Park, which is well known for Africa’s largest concentration of elephants. The luxury lodge features 15 air-conditioned thatched cottages, each of which have their own en-suite bath, indoor and outdoor showers, private garden with hammock and viewing terrace over the river.
 
Guests staying at the lodge can take advantage of guided game drives in open-sided 4x4 vehicles. Wildlife commonly spotted include elephants, crocodiles, antelopes, hippo, and a variety of creatures on the Chobe’s river banks.
